Convection Vaporizers

This is the "Mini Vaporizer" , its a portable convection vaporizer that is affordable and makes smoking a lot healthier.

Convection vaporizers present a slightly different approach to the same idea, of vaporizing / extracting herbal essences from plant matter at temperatures short of combustion, as conduction vaporizers. Instead of having the heat source make direct contact with the herbs, air is heated (usually using a ceramic heat element) and then passed through the herbs.

Digital Control

Convection vaporizers also come at a higher cost. Conduction vaporizers consist of little more than a soldering iron with a bowl attached to the end of it, whereas the more sophisticated convection vaporizers have digital temperature controls. This allows for precise heating and for different settings, depending on the type of plant matter that is to be vaporized. As with conduction vaporizers, tar and other carcinogenic substances are absent from the produced vapor.

Sweating It Out

Convection vaporizers offer a more thorough extraction of THC from marijuana, for instance, because the air can make contact with a greater percentage of the plant matter itself. In effect, the heated air “sweats out” the plant’s herbal essence. For those who use a vaporizer as an alternative to smoking, they should be aware that the vaporizer does nothing to reduce the amount of nicotine in tobacco, so it will not be very useful as an aide to conquering addiction.

Vaporizers are not just a healthy alternative to burning marijuana and inhaling the smoke and all of its chemical components. Since they can also be used for other purposes – potpourri, for example – they constitute an effective end-run around the legal system’s efforts to combat drug paraphernalia.
